Berikut kami sampaikan update terbaru terkait aktivitas IGG Cable System Repair.
As of September 12, 2025, the IGG Cable System repair is progressing well. The laying of spare cables and the final splice have been successfully completed with good test results. The vessel is now carrying out final cable bight rigging and deployment.
Services are already up, though there will be a brief downtime later for power reconfiguration (PFE) and Branching Unit (BU) switching.
The repair work will be fully completed after power reconfiguration tonight, subject to weather and technical conditions.

Update - Sejak sekitar pukul 04:42 WITA Jumat 12 September 2025, koneksi internet di jalur backbone Manado - Singapore sudah terlihat normal kembali, sesuai schedule dari pengelola bandwidth yang mana perbaikan Submarine Fiber Optic Cut akan selesai pada tanggal 12 September 2025.
Saat ini jalur backbone Manado - Singapore masih dalam status monitoring.

As of September 11, 2025, the IGG Cable System repair is progressing according to plan. The vessel has completed deploying the cable to the seabed and is now laying spare cables toward the second fault location. Once this is completed, preparations for the final splice will begin.
The repair work is expected to be completed by September 12, 2025, subject to weather and technical conditions. We will continue to provide timely updates as activities progress.
During this period, services may experience temporary latency due to reduced capacity; however, traffic is being re-routed to minimize impact and prevent packet loss.

As of September 8, 2025, the IGG Cable System repair is progressing smoothly and remains on schedule. The repair vessel has completed route scouting, current assessments, and power reconfiguration, and is now deploying equipment to precisely locate the fault before beginning cable recovery.
The work is expected to be completed ahead of schedule, with services anticipated to return to normal by September 18, 2025, subject to weather and technical conditions. We will continue to share timely updates as the repair progresses.

Berikut kami sampaikan update terkini terkait case cable cut IGG.
We would like to update you regarding the cable cut on the IGG cable system..
Cable cut is located between BU1 and BU1A, approximately 367 kms from Dumai Station or 99 kms from Singapore station. Cable cut is in the subsea segment that will take many days for recovery.
Currently we are still in coordination with Marine Maintenance provider with latest update is below :
- Call Out for cable restoration (Done)
- Marine Maintenance Provider will release PoW in the next 2-4 days. We will update detail PoW once it is available.
Cable repair is expected to be completed Week-4 of September 2025. Please be noted the recovery date is subject to technical and weather condition.

Dear Infotek,
Berikut kami sampikan informasi terbaru terkait gangguan kabel (cable cut) pada sistem kabel IGG.
Lokasi putus kabel berada di antara BU1 dan BU1A, sekitar 367 km dari Stasiun Dumai atau 99 km dari Stasiun Singapura. Putus kabel terjadi pada segmen bawah laut yang membutuhkan waktu beberapa hari untuk pemulihan.
Saat ini kami masih berkoordinasi dengan penyedia Marine Maintenance dengan pembaruan terakhir sebagai berikut:
Call Out untuk pemulihan kabel (Selesai)
PoW masih dalam proses, disiapkan oleh Marine Maintenance Provider. Detail PoW akan kami informasikan setelah tersedia.
Perbaikan kabel diperkirakan akan selesai pada Minggu ke-4 bulan September 2025. Harap diperhatikan bahwa estimasi penyelesaian dapat berubah tergantung pada kondisi teknis dan cuaca.

Investigating - Sejak sekitar pukul 04:15 WITA, Sabtu 23 Agustus 2025, terdeteksi naiknya latency di jalur backbone ke arah domestik Indonesia melalui Singapore.
Problem sedang dalam investigasi, penanganan & perbaikan secepatnya oleh pengelola backbone.
Koneksi internet ke arah domestik Indonesia dan Singapore, saat ini melambat.
